AMA House in Brazil

Designed by Brazilian architects Bernardes + Jacobsen, the impressive and luxurious AMA house is nestled amongst the tropical coastal hills near the city of Guarujá in São Paulo. Spread over three floors, the house touches ground in just five points on the steep sloping landscape, lending to unbeatable views from both its double-height living area and large infinity pool. Locally sourced Brazilian teak wood, large windows, glass sliding doors, and indoor bamboo trees all help to blur the boundary between growing and built environments, keeping the inhabitants connected to the beautiful outside world. Meanwhile, carefully planted surrounding plants provide privacy for the lower levels, as well as shade from the hot sun.
